“The World Bank is set to supply $155 million funding to support water supply, sanitation and natural resource management in Ghana.
The Bank’s Board of Executive Directors approved the International Development Association (IDA) grant this week as it sees those areas as priorities for the Ghanaian government.
“The funds will support two of the Government of Ghana’s priorities-manage natural resources in a sustainable manner and bring improved sanitation and water supply to over 3.6 million people living in and around the Greater Accra Metropolitan Area (GAMA),” the World Bank said in a statement. . .”
