Born in Mozambique in 1985, designer Taibo Bacar has already established himself as one of the stand out designers of his country, winning the award for “Best Established Designer” at Mozambique Fashion Week in2008.
With a signature style that is casual but elegant and a clear objective to continue to develop as a designer and expand his brand, this 23 years old is a designer to watch out for. Energetic and passionate about fashion, he has won numerous awards for his designs and dressed many of Maputo’s most famous women.
“I was born with an eye for fashion, I like to make beautiful things for women and see them well-dressed,” he says.
Taibo Bacar draws inspiration from classic looks, always with a touch of glamour, and gives more value to the products made in his home country of Mozambique. Taibo owns 2 brands: Amalias Garden by Taibo (prêt-a-porter) and TAIBO (haute couture).”
