1ST WEEKEND OF ARTS AND FASHION IN BRUSSELS

Brussels, 14, 15 and 16 September 2012 – The event “ETHNO TREND” will present his first edition Fashion Weekend 2012 in a prestigious location: the Royal Museum for Central Africa in Tervuren. “ETHNO TREND” is a weekend based international ethical fashion, ethnic solidarity and was sponsored by Marie Daulne of “Zap Mama”.
This event is a place of artistic expression and a business platform for fashion designers – creators from different horizons. This weekend has a will of sustainability and declines each year a different theme of ethnic fashion.
In 2012, there will be a “close up” on the African and Asian campaign through parades around the colors, fabrics and products of miscegenation. A weekend of artistic exchange where designers say their creations. Furthermore, this weekend has a second component on ethical fashion, mindful of the man and his environment.
The program for this innovative Fashion Weekend:
Parades of designers, sales booths fairs designer and also a village associations, conferences, exhibitions, films – documentaries, creative workshops, a springboard for artists, food stands “Ethno Gourmet”.
Part of the profits of Fashion Weekend “ETHNO TREND” will be donated to an association in Africa fighting for the respect and development of women. Another portion of the profits will be used to open a space for artists – craftsmen who put forward a method “Ethics and Ethnicity” in Brussels.
