It has been quite a while since we updated the Ladybrille audience on rapper X.O Senavoe, one of ‘Ladybrille’s Artist to Watch.’ Below is an update from X.O Senavoe who performed in Ghana at the ‘Bless the Mic’ event earlier this month.
” . . . X.O Senavoe was billed as one of the major acts to grace Bless The Mic, Ghana’s biggest annual hip-hop festival and concert. The show was mad and the packed crowd were treated to a one-of-a-kind debut performance by one of Africa’s best rappers & entertainers. Throughout his set, the audience was buzzing as people had their hands up in their signature X.O signs.
Performing crowd-pleasers like Osibisa’s “Welcome Home” and his smash-hit “Say It Again”, X.O brought out Efya for a moving first performance of “Mama”, his song dedicated to his past mother, which ended to a long resounding crowd ovation. And when everyone thought it was over, X.O brought out Ghana’s self-acclaimed “mad man” Kwaw Kese for the debut of their song “Mad Men” off the highly-anticipated upcoming tape, Xpoint0. The crowd went wild!!!
