Swahili Fashion Week prepares for its 2011 edition from 10-12 November at the National Museum in Dar es Salaam. Just before the show, however, Swahili Fashion week organizers will make the event DEBUT showcase in Arusha, the head quarters of the EAST AFRICAN COMMUNITY, October 8th, 2011 at The Mount Meru Hotel. According to the organizers, “the goal is to take the works of designers regionally and sensitize Fashion as Business to the EAST AFRICAN community.”
