“Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.”~Ralph Waldo Emerson

The Ladybrille® Woman  is a community of dynamic brilliant women entrepreneur leaders and entrepreneurs who unapologetically celebrate the brilliant (Ladybrille) woman. Ours is a community of trailblazers, and game changers who are very serious about success. It is a community where sisterhood matters, purposeful networking takes place, the right resources, tools, solutions, and strategies are exchanged, strong connections are built, and the next generation of trailblazers and leaders are mentored. We are a community committed to supporting and doing business with each other.

The Ladybrille®Woman community encourages and also shares best practices on the topics that are dearest to us including entrepreneurship, work-life balance and finance.

Our community has zero tolerance for stereotyped cattiness expected and projected on women leaders; and instead focuses on creating a supportive and positive environment where we all thrive and equally important, pay-it-forward.

Truthfully, it is a community I have created for myself, family and trusted friends who are fellow women entrepreneurs and leaders. After numerous discussions where we have shared the frustration of not having a place on or offline where we can meet positive and supportive women entrepreneurs and leaders, especially of African heritage, I decided it was time to create such a place for us by us.

After years of supporting and being an important catalyst to the success of hundreds of women owned businesses and leaders, it is discouraging for me to see the continued marginalization of the African woman as either an agriculturist or homemaker; and the lack of a pay-it-forward mentality, support and mentorship among some of the handful of successful women.

Ladybrille® Woman is about creating a vetted community where women like myself i.e. unapologetically brilliant women, especially women of African heritage, can congregate to support, mentor and do business with each other. It is a community that rejects the notion that any brilliant woman should dumb down or edit herself to be “less intimidating” or “fit in.”
