Spice Magazine Joins Growing Lifestyle Publications in Nigeria

Spice

As the global recession continues, one of its effects has been the death of print magazines in Western countries, especially the USA. Not so in Nigeria. In fact, with over 51% of the 140 million population making up Gen X and Y, according to a recent Africa Media Initiative studies supported by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Nigeria’s media industry is fertile ground for aspiring publishers.

It is no suprise, therefore, that Spice Magazine joins in the list of established and emerging lifestyle publications in Nigeria like: Made, Mode, Ovation, CityPeople, Genevieve, True Love, FM&B, Canoe, BHF, JTON, HiTV.

Spice Magazine which covers lifestyle topics like red carpet fashions, celebs, fashion weeks and romance is managed by Joy Isi Bewaji, Editor-in-Chief, formerly with Genevieve Magazine.

    Good afternoon
We are a business to business magazine publishing house in South Africa. We have a publication in the Diamond and jewellery sector that has been published for the past 80 years. Further to this we have another 4 publications in the same sector. We are currently exploring the possibility of doing an AFRICA magazine that covers the full continent rather than just southern Africa. We have both the experience and international standing to do this, but would like to create partnership deals with publishing houses in both east and west Africa. If you are interested to discuss potention, oplease let me know.
