Dele Momodu, Fela Durotoye, Donald Duke, Pat Utomi, Others to Speak at GOTNI Summit

As a new election year approaches in 2011, recent developments in our nation’s polity have more than ever before re-echoed the need for the emergence of a new generation of transformational leaders who will redirect our nation from the pathway of gloom to a brand new Nigeria where everything works.

History is in the making as Nigeria’s foremost youth leadership organisation – Guardians of the Nation International [GOTNI] presents its 2010 Abuja Leadership and Economic Summit themed – LEADERSHIP FOR TRANSFORMATION: IMAGINE THE POSSIBILITIES.

In partnership with the Nigeria Economic Summit Group [NESG], Ministry of Youth Development and OVATION International, GOTNI is prepared to host seven hundred [700] best of the best young Nigerians [between the ages of 18 and 40] who will converge on the Congress Hall of TransCorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja on Friday 7th and Saturday 8th May, 2010 in a bid to address and proffer concrete solutions to the leadership crisis which has plagued our nation within the past four decades.

According to Linus Okorie, Founder and President, GOTNI, “By all means, this Summit is a star-studded package that brings together some of Nigeria’s finest technocrats, captains of industry as well as seasoned political leaders who will engage 700 carefully selected Nigerians on the issues the Summit seeks to address. Expectations are high and we are convinced that at the end of the Summit, a clearer direction for transformational leadership in Nigeria would have been created.”

Some of the speakers scheduled to speak at the Abuja Summit include, Mazi Sam Ohuabunwa, Bashorun Dele Momodu, Mr. Fela Durotoye, Prof. Pat Utomi, Prof. Dora Akunyili, Mr. Frank Nweke Jnr., Mr. John Momoh, Dr. Donald Duke, Ambassador Godknows Igali, Dr. Cosmas Maduka, among others.

Our Leaders have conditioned the mind of the Average Nigerian to appreciate and embrace poverty. The Average nigeria is not interested in dignity of the human person or in his Human Rights. He only struggles to live above $1 a day.

over the years we have had and still have RECYCLED LEADERSHIP.’LEADERS’ or do i call them wolves who have hijacked power, who are intoxicated by power and have turned democracy to their inheritance. They rule, their children take over, their grand children take over.THEY HAVE TURNED DEMOCRACY TO MONARCHRACY.
